Our compact studio in Schattenhalb is a lovely place for two adults or a family with young children. It has a comfortable double bed, and children can sleep on the sofa bed. The studio has a well-equipped kitchen and a private bathroom with a shower.

Make the most of the mountains in summer
Spring Inn is a great base for active days in the mountains. Go hiking, trail running or cycling; visit the Aare Gorge and Reichenbach Falls; or explore the Meiringen-Hasliberg hiking and ski area. Children will love the Muggestutz adventure trails and the Kugelweg.

Discover the Haslital in every season
In winter, enjoy skiing, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. You can also go sledging on Hasliberg or try the famous Big Pintenfritz sledging route from the Faulhorn to Grindelwald. Explore snowy trails on foot or snowshoes—Maarten would be happy to guide you.

A warm welcome from a Dutch family
We are Maartje and Maarten, a Dutch family with three children. Since 2022, we have lived in Schattenhalb in the same building as our guests. We’re happy to share local tips and ideas for hikes, trail runs and other activities.
